Dessert Hummus is a thing!

Hummus is easily the most loved dip and we’ve seen all kinds of hummus spin off’s – herbed hummus, flavoured hummus, hummus topped with nuts, seeds, roasted veggies, feta, pomegranate, avocado, pesto & so much more. Just when we thought that we’ve seen every version of the humble dip, it springs a surprise that no one saw coming. Hummus for dessert!

Everyone loves hummus and literally everyone loves dessert but no one knew this odd match was actually made in heaven for anyone that was trying to eat healthy. It’s a guilt free sweet treat that tastes like cookie dough and can be made vegan, glutenfree, low fat etc.

Obviously Chickpeas form the base of dessert hummus but when they’re combined with a mix of ingredients like vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, hazelnuts, coconut milk, cinnamon, etc they turn our humble hummus into an outstanding sweet treat.
